Oh man, I'm kind of in love with this picture. It's SUPER simple compared to what I usually do, but that's what I like about it! This is my half of a trade with
, of her goash darn adorable character, Njota! Seriously. Too cute.
My main goal with this picture was to try and communicate that "rainy day in" sort of feeling. You know, where it's pouring outside and you're all snuggled up in a blankie with some tea or coffee watching the rain fall? Unfortunately, lions don't have tea, coffee, or blankies, so, insteadm I gave her.... rocks.
Other than the pose, I didn't reference ANYTHING,
ANYTHING for this picture. Some people can bang out these amazing backgrounds like nobody's business without using a single reference. I am NOT one of those people. At least not yet, anyway.
